Sales Representative - Residential Construction

Our client is a custom home builder based in the greater Harrisburg area known for their high quality of work and attention to detail. They are seeking a Salesperson responsible for selling remodel projects within the local market. The ideal candidate will have foundational sales skills and knowledge of residential construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate sales leads via phone, email, website, open houses, realtors, trade shows, and other marketing events.
  • Schedule home site visits with prospects.
  • Explain the sales remodel process to prospects.
  • Follow established construction standards and best practices for consistency
  • Design remodel with clients using provided tools and technology 
  • Present and review pricing, specifications, and contracts with clients
  • Promote and connect clients with outside designers for interior and exterior selections as needed 
  • Work with draftsman for plan updates and present revised plans to clients through the design process.
  • Review and help clients make selections
  • Obtain Design Agreements and Contracts, collect checks and provide to admin
  • Attend Pre-Construction meetings for all remodels to share about the client and any specific requests the team should be aware of.
  • Review Builder Trend project setup for accuracy
  • Obtain allowance pricing from approved vendors for final customer pricing
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in construction or a related market
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field (preferred, not required)
  • Experience with CRM programs, Builder Trend preferred
  • Previous experience with residential construction
