Role Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Support Associate to contribute to Insight’s success by providing a responsive, high quality day-to-day support service across all business development channels. The team provides dedicated sales support across several sales channels including, but not limited to, global consultant relations, UK and European direct institutional, and BNY sales activity globally.
Role Responsibilities:
•Coordinate and deliver presentations for all new business opportunities to new prospects, consultants and existing clients by attending pre meets, liaising with investment and marketing teams, and ensuring regulatory standards are met. Prioritise workflows to meet deadlines across all the supported channels.
•Support the Consultant Relationship Team’s efforts with global and regional consultants. Manage the consultant quarterly reporting cycle across Insight’s main investment capabilities (LDI, fixed income & multi-asset).
•Contribute to the prospecting efforts of the business development team by researching prospects and perform in-depth analysis of the competitor and product landscape, supporting the building of new client relationships potentially and identifying new business opportunities.
•Query resolution for the business development teams; includes maintaining a shared mailbox supporting BNY sales activity.
•Managing the post-sales process and ensuring follow-ups are completed and pipelines are accurately updated.
•Work and often lead on business development projects. Recent examples include the building out of sales messaging and materials for new investment strategies and management of targeted marketing campaigns.
•Manage the team’s oversight of RFI/RFP pipeline, prioritising to ensuring deadlines are met and, where required, assist in their completion.
Experience Required:
•The candidate possesses relevant experience within the financial services industry, demonstrating a good understanding of asset management.
•Analytical Skills: Exhibits strong analytical abilities, enabling informed decision-making and effective problem-solving.
•Communication Skills: Capable of conveying information clearly and engaging with stakeholders.
•Time Management: Able to work efficiently and meet multiple deadlines, consistently providing exemplary service to all stakeholders involved.
•Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Office and PowerPoint, with prior experience in producing presentations considered advantageous.
•Highly motivated, energetic, and flexible, with a strong drive to meet targets.
•A self-starter who can work independently as well as collaborate effectively across the business.
