About the role
This part-time (0.6FTE) position is expected to commence as soon as is practicable.
Join our growing Wellbeing Team and work alongside our Academic Staff to enhance our school culture. We are seeking a motivated and engaged team player who can help support students to engage and connect with the curriculum, feel well supported and cared for in the playground and equipped with strategies for managing different environments. Responsibilities:
- Live out your faith in a Christian school community, with an attitude of support, care and excellence;
- Contribute to the holistic care and welfare of students;
- Support individual or small groups of students throughout the school to connect and feel a sense of belonging;
- Facilitate short wellbeing programs such as Cool Kids or In Real Life for students in need of strategy development;
- Record student support delivered using the school based systems and structures;
- Support students to integrate and connect in the classroom and playground;
- Maintain high levels of professionalism, flexibility and collaboration with colleagues.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be agile and respond with care to a range of student needs.
- You have an active Christian faith and regularly attend church.
