About Think Academy Silicon Valley
Think Academy is a leading math enrichment program serving Silicon Valley families with rigorous, joyful learning experiences. We partner with local schools and communities to support students’ academic growth and confidence.
Role Summary
We’re looking for an Outreach & Partnerships BD who thrives in the community—building relationships with schools, PTAs, preschools, and local organizations and turning partnerships into real enrollment outcomes. This role owns the “front door” of local growth: outreach strategy, school relationship development, on-site events, and building a small field outreach team.
Key Responsibilities
1) School & PTA Partnerships (Core)
- Build and manage relationships with elementary schools, middle schools, PTAs, and school district communities
- Identify partnership opportunities (e.g., Math Night, STEM Night, silent auctions, newsletters, after-school enrichment, PTA sponsorships)
- Pitch collaboration proposals and coordinate logistics, approvals, and follow-up
- Maintain a partnership pipeline and report weekly progress (contacts made, meetings booked, partnerships secured)
2) Preschool & Early Childhood Outreach
- Develop partnerships with preschools, daycare centers, and early childhood programs
- Coordinate co-marketing opportunities (parent workshops, flyers, referral programs, classroom visits where allowed)
- Build a repeatable playbook for preschool outreach in key neighborhoods
3) Field Outreach Team Building (“Ground Team”)
- Recruit, train, and manage a small team of outreach reps/volunteers (students, parents, part-time reps)
- Create field scripts, daily task lists, and quality standards
- Build a sustainable weekly cadence for outreach coverage (routes, shift plan, KPI tracking)
Qualifications
Required
- Strong communication skills; comfortable reaching out cold and following up
- Highly organized; able to manage multiple relationships and event logistics
- Comfortable working weekends and being on-site at schools/events
Preferred
- Experience working with schools, PTAs, preschools, or youth/community organizations
- Bilingual English/Chinese is a plus (not required)
- Familiarity with Silicon Valley school communities or local parent networks
- Experience training/managing a small field team
