We are seeking a talented Senior Azure Integration Engineer for a 3-month contract role in Melbourne. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through their journey to the Microsoft Azure cloud, ensuring every phase of their transition is architecturally sound and future-proof.
Your responsibilities will span the entire cloud lifecycle, beginning with meticulous readiness assessments to evaluate organizational preparedness for adoption. From there, you will take the lead in designing and deploying robust Azure Landing Zones that are fully compliant with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that critical pillars—including networking, identity, security, and governance—are flawlessly integrated, establishing a secure, scalable foundation for seamless migration and long-term innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Azure readiness assessments to evaluate organisational preparedness for cloud adoption
- Develop reports and recommendations on prerequisites, risks, and dependencies for cloud migration and integration
- Design and deploy Azure Landing Zones in accordance with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
- Ensure network, identity, security, and governance requirements are factored into platform readiness
- Support migration planning activities as they relate to application integration, connectivity, and platform dependencies
- Strong Background in .Net development
- Engage stakeholders to understand business and technical integration requirements
- Document functional and non-functional requirements for integration and platform services
- Design secure, scalable integration patterns aligned with Azure best practices
- Collaborate with solution architects to ensure integration components align with overall cloud architecture
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands on background of experience of integration development experience, with multiple years on Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid
- Experience in building integration solutions aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework is highly desirable.
- Strong background in .Nert development
- Solid understanding of cloud integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth2, asynchronous messaging
- Experience conducting Azure readiness assessments or cloud platform audits
- Hands-on experience designing or deploying Azure Landing Zones
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM platforms is also a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with hybrid network/security design (e.g., ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, Azure Firewall)
- Proficiency in scripting languages and DevOps automation (Azure DevOps)
