WHOOP is hiring a Senior Brand Manager to sit at the intersection of brand strategy and creative execution. This role translates audience insight, cultural relevance, and business priorities into compelling brand narratives and breakthrough marketing experiences that differentiate WHOOP in the market and drive engagement, relevance and measurable business impact.
As a strategic connector across Product Marketing, Creative, Integrated Marketing, and Analytics, you will ensure every expression of WHOOP is strategically sharp, creatively ambitious, and clearly tied to member value. This role requires both strategic clarity and operational excellence to ensure WHOOP delivers cohesive and enduring brand experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Steward and apply WHOOP’s brand positioning across campaigns and touchpoints, with a strategic POV towards differentiation in marketWrite insight-driven creative briefs that translate WHOOP's brand positioning, product priorities, and member insights into clear creative briefs with defined objectives, guardrails, and success metricsPartner closely with Creative leadership to ensure creative output aligns with brand strategy,brief objectives, and desired business impactSupport and lead brand and creative agency relationships, setting scope, expectations, day-to-day workflow, managing feedback loops and performance standards to ensure high-quality, on-strategy executionPartner with Product Marketing to incorporate member insights and product context into briefs, ensuring the brief reflects both brand ambition and product truthCollaborate with Integrated Marketing and Analytics to define campaign objectives, establish measurement frameworks, and remain accountable from brief through launch and post-campaign learningApply WHOOP's brand positioning consistently across campaigns, channels, and touchpoints, acting as a quality layer between strategy and executionProactively partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing Strategy & Ops, PMM, Sports & Talent, Social, Wholesale, and Product stakeholders to understand channel and partner needs and ensure experiences deliver against business objectives Define and track brand health metrics in partnership with Analytics, and surface insights to inform future briefs and strategyMaintain and evolve brand tools, including brand architectures, campaign toolkits, and frameworks so cross-functional teams can execute with clarity and independence
QUALIFICATIONS:
6–10+ years of experience in brand marketing, brand strategy, or integrated campaign leadership rolesProven experience leading brand campaigns end-to-end from insight development through creative execution and launchStrong ability to translate product value propositions into emotionally compelling brand storytellingDemonstrated experience managing creative agencies or cross-functional creative teams in fast-paced environmentsExcellent strategic thinking, communication, and briefing skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholdersStructured, decisive operator with strong project management instincts and accountability for resultsStrong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $170,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
