We are currently hiring on behalf of my client, Senior Business Development Manager within a financial media business, with a focus on generating new business, managing client accounts, and supporting sales targets related to media products and services. This role will be responsible for identifying potential clients, presenting suitable offerings and maintaining strong relationships to ensure repeat business. The role requires a proactive and results driven approach, along with a solid understanding of media sales and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to support consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Identify, pursue and close high-value business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts using analytical insights to anticipate trends and outcomes.
- Establish and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor with a deep understanding of client needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that clearly communicate the company’s value proposition.
- Manage and exceed customer expectations through strategic initiatives aimed at satisfaction, retention and loyalty.
- Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to generate actionable insights and business recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development, sales, or a similar commercial role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Strong track record of independently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication and strategic thinking skills.
