Job Title: Senior Cloud Architect (AWS) – Multiple Roles
Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Salary: £120,000–£140,000
Eligibility: UK-based candidates only
Due to work with government clients, candidates must be eligible for SC clearance (sponsorship provided). Willingness to obtain DV clearance in the future is advantageous but not essential.
We are AWS cloud specialists focused on enterprise landing zones, cloud security, and operating models. We work with public and private sector organisations to design, govern, and scale secure cloud platforms that support critical workloads.
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will provide architectural leadership and technical governance for enterprise AWS platforms. You will work closely with client stakeholders to design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments and define the standards that underpin successful cloud adoption.
• Design and operate enterprise-scale AWS Landing Zones
• Define infrastructure, networking, and security architectures
• Provide technical governance for cloud workload delivery
• Design controls to prevent, detect, and remediate AWS security risks
• Lead cloud operating model and CCoE transformations
• Define RACI models, governance frameworks, and operational standards
• Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework principles
• Lead cost-optimisation strategies and promote cost-aware engineering
• Oversee enterprise security strategies, risk management, and compliance
• Set technical standards and implement compliance controls
• Deliver solutions using AWS services including AWS Organizations, IAM, IAM Identity Center, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub
• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional delivery teams
• Extensive experience designing and operating AWS Landing Zones
• Strong understanding of AWS security risks and mitigation strategies
• Opinionated approach to Infrastructure as Code (structure and modularisation)
• Experience architecting complex, scalable AWS platforms
• Experience working in regulated or government environments
• Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
