We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Consultant Obstetrics Gynecologist to join a government health facility and make a significant impact in women's health services.

In this senior-level role, you will provide expert consultation and high-quality care in obstetrics and gynecology. You will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of obstetric and gynecological conditions, leading clinical teams, and promoting best practices within the government health facility.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the obstetrics and gynecology department, providing oversight and guidance to junior staff
• Diagnose, treat, and manage complex obstetric and gynecological cases
• Perform a range of surgical procedures including high-risk obstetric surgeries and gynecological operations
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for patient care
• Conduct comprehensive prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum services
• Engage in community health initiatives to promote women's health education
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Participate in continuing medical education and stay informed on the latest developments in the field

Requirements

• Completion of a specialized residency in obstetrics and gynecology
• Significant experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with a leadership background preferred
• Expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies and performing complex surgical interventions
• Strong knowledge of government health facility operations and standards
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in obstetrics and gynecology
• Experience in community health and public health initiatives is a plus
