Senior DevOps Engineer
- Design, build, and maintain key infrastructure that is observable, stable, and performant.
- Modernize build processes to use best-in-class CI/CD practices.
- Automate and implement scalable, highly available applications on AWS, GCP, and Azure.
About the role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will join a global team comprised of engineers in Poland, India, and the United States. We're a highly collaborative team with engineers of various skill levels to help everyone improve and grow. If you are the kind of individual who wants to deepen their technical knowledge and share their experience while enjoying a good laugh & working with AWS, GCP, and Azure, then this is the team for you.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with development, product, and support teams to design scalable, highly available, and maintainable application infrastructure.
- Help stakeholders understand the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of their solutions.
- Own critical CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and enable teams to leverage automation and AI to improve development outcomes.
- Implement code, automation tools, custom tools, and scripts as necessary to evolve systems and processes.
- Document existing systems and processes for review by internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for you if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
- Experience with major public cloud environments, particularly AWS. GCP or Azure a plus.
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Strong networking skills and experience with multi-region and cross-account connectivity.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD systems, particularly GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Comfortable with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Familiarity with cloud security, access management, and IAM best-practices.
- Experience with scripting languages, like Python, bash, PowerShell.
- Experience with SonarQube, Nexus, Zabbix, or Grafana a plus.
- Familiarity with Javascript, Java, C/C++, makefiles, or Delphi a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, and willingness to coach more junior colleagues.
- Able to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
