Now we're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our highly talented team, and work closely together with other engineers to bring our product to life.
You’ll be joining the company at an early stage, so it is an amazing opportunity to make a major impact on how our product works. Our software sits within the core application code of our customers’ systems, so reliability and performance are extremely important.
As a DevOps engineer at Stigg, you’ll play a key role in strengthening the backbone of our R&D platform. You’ll work closely with developers to build scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure, reduce build and deployment times, and improve our monitoring and observability. You’ll drive initiatives in automation, stability, and visibility to maintain our 99.99% SLA while ensuring infrastructure changes are fast, safe, and trivial. In this role, you’ll help shape the company’s ability to scale and deliver product with speed, stability, and confidence.
What you'll do
Build, manage, and be responsible for our platform’s up-time, infrastructure and scale
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of the cloud-based infrastructure
Ensure the security of the infrastructure by implementing industry-standard security measures and conducting regular security audits
Take part in making architecture decisions
Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to identify and implement DevOps solutions that support business objectives
Continuously improve our codebase & stay up-to-date with emerging trends in DevOps
Requirements
4+ years as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role with a proven track record of developing and managing scalable and resilient infrastructure
3+ years experience with AWS and other cloud computing services.
Proven experience with Configuration Management using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools.
In-depth knowledge of build/release systems, CI/CD systems (Octopus, GitHub actions, Git)
Good understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Karpenter)
Great communication skills
Highly motivated and can-do attitude
Bonus points:
Familiar with SDK development
Excited to build stuff from scratch
