Senior Drainage/Plumbing Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Engineer - Drainage & Plumbing specializing in the design and implementation of drainage and plumbing systems for Rail Stations,  large industrial and utility buildings, particularly in sectors such as Container Terminals, Shipyards, and Aviation Bases. The role requires expertise in managing complex drainage networks and plumbing installations suitable for high-demand industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design drainage and plumbing systems, including stormwater management, wastewater treatment, and water supply networks, for industrial buildings.
• Develop detailed layouts, hydraulic calculations, and technical specifications to ensure efficient and compliant systems.
• Coordinate with structural, HVAC, and electrical teams to integrate drainage and plumbing systems within the overall facility design.
• Conduct site visits to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of drainage and plumbing systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, environmental regulations, and client requirements.
• Provide technical support during project planning and budgeting phases to ensure optimal system design within budget constraints.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical.
• 12–14 years on major public/transport buildings and infrastructure.
• Strong code understanding (IPC/UPC/IBC; NFPA interfaces for fire water).
• BIM coordination experience; Middle East authority exposure preferred.

Additional Information

Software

Proficiency in plumbing and drainage design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and StormCAD; knowledge of hydraulic modeling software is a plus.
