We’re growing our world-class Audiobooks Editorial team and are looking for a Senior Editor to lead programming across Latin America. In this role, you’ll connect powerful stories with the right moods, moments, and audiences across Spanish-language storefronts — and ideally support the Brazilian Portuguese market as well. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and publishing houses to drive culturally relevant discovery and meaningful listener experiences.
What You'll Do
Lead and execute editorial strategy for audiobooks across Spanish-language markets in Latin America, with support for Brazil where applicable
Drive discovery by identifying and amplifying titles, authors, narrators, and genres that resonate across Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Brazil
Manage ongoing programming updates, merchandising, and testing hypotheses to improve storefront performance
Build and maintain editorial calendars aligned with regional cultural moments, publishing cycles, and cross-functional initiatives
Partner closely with Growth, Marketing, PR, Product, Engineering, and Operations to elevate audiobooks across key moments
Develop and maintain strong relationships with publishers to stay ahead of upcoming releases and catalog priorities
Evaluate titles objectively and make programming decisions grounded in audience relevance, cultural resonance, and business context
Use research, cultural insights, and data to continuously refine discovery strategies
Leverage AI-powered tools and data systems to improve workflow efficiency and trend identification, while applying strong human editorial judgment to ensure quality and nuance
Who You Are
You have 5+ years of editorial and/or merchandising experience at a digital-first platform, publishing house, or major books retailer
You have deep knowledge of the Latin American publishing landscape, particularly Spanish-language markets
You are fluent in Spanish and English
You have professional proficiency in Portuguese, or strong familiarity with the Brazilian publishing ecosystem
You know how to translate cultural moments and trends into compelling editorial programming
You are experienced working hands-on with digital content and storefront merchandising
You are comfortable collaborating in publisher-facing environments while maintaining audience-first decision-making
You use both qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform programming decisions
You are curious about AI tools and understand how to use them thoughtfully to scale impact without replacing editorial judgment
You care deeply about books and are passionate about the evolution of audio and spoken-word storytelling
You communicate clearly, stay organized, and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments
