Senior ETL Database Developer

• Database Design: Architect and implement relational database models, schemas, and tables using industry best practices for normalization and performance.
• Advanced Development: Write complex stored procedures, triggers, views, and user-defined functions to support application logic.
• Performance Tuning: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through index optimization, query refactoring, and execution plan analysis.
• ETL & Integration: Design and maintain robust Data Integration/ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to consolidate data from disparate sources.
• Data Security: Implement and manage security protocols, including encryption, data masking, and granular access controls, to protect sensitive information.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop and optimize complex reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) or Power BI to provide actionable business insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ETL development, with strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle and SQL Server; ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with data integration tools other than Informatica is a plus (e.g., Microsoft SSIS).
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services related to ETL processes is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering quality results.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
