As a Senior Executive, Inventory Planning, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal stock availability across the company’s D2C and e-commerce portfolio. You will be responsible for demand forecasting, inventory planning, and performance tracking to balance service level, inventory holding, and business growth objectives. This role requires strong analytical capability, cross-functional coordination, and proactive monitoring of OOS and dead stock risks.
What You’ll Do
Demand Forecasting & Planning:
Own weekly and monthly demand forecast across all brands under the D2C and e-commerce channels
Review historical sales, campaign plans, seasonality, and market trends to generate accurate forecasts
Adjust forecast assumptions based on promotions, new product launches, and marketing activities
Monitor forecast accuracy and analyze variance between forecast and actual sales
Inventory Planning & Optimization:
Monitor stock positions and proactively manage OOS (Out of Stock) risks across key platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc.).
Identify slow-moving and dead stock (SLOB) and propose action plans with commercial teams
Balance service level targets with inventory holding and working capital constraints
Define safety stock levels and reorder points based on demand variability and lead time.
Assess supply risks and escalate potential stock shortages to relevant stakeholders
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
Maintain and update PSI (Purchase-Sales-Inventory) planning files to support decision-making.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on stock health, ageing profile, inventory turnover, and OOS rate
Analyze key KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Sell-through Rate, Inventory Days, and Dead Stock Ratio
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Fulfillment teams to align on campaign plans and replenishment strategy
Coordinate with Key Account Managers (KAM) regarding sales projections and platform performance
Support preparation for major campaign events (Double Day, Payday, Mega Campaign) to ensure stock readiness
Collaborate with Supply / Procurement teams on inbound planning and replenishment timing
Continuous Improvement
Improve forecasting models and planning templates to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Support automation initiatives and data visualization enhancements (Excel / BI tools)
Contribute to strategic projects to improve inventory turnover and reduce dead stock exposure
Who You Are
Must have
At least 3 years of experience supply chain planning, inventory management, or demand planning (e-commerce experience highly preferred).
Solid understanding of inventory KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Turnover, OOS Rate, and SLOB.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Advanced Excel skills (Google sheet, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Nice to have
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or any related field.

System & Data Familiarity: Learns the basic SOPs for core tasks (e.g., Stock Adjustment, Demand Forecasting process).

Contribution to Routine Tasks (Assisted): Starts taking responsibility for repetitive, daily/weekly tasks under close supervision.
Basic Analysis & Root Cause: Practices using Excel/Google Sheets to extract and process data (basic functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
