Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights, conducting in-depth analysis, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Comfortable engaging with production floor teams to gather insights and firsthand understanding of financial issues facing the organization
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives
• Agility in addressing immediate challenges and proposing effective alternatives
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
• Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights for strategic projects
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, providing detailed explanations and action plans
• Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational efficiency
• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial analysis and reporting

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role
• Demonstrated positive impact in assessing financial risks and develop meaningful solutions
• In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial statement analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including expertise in spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis, and complex formula creation
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences to include all levels of management
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, other electronic database systems
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools like Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or OneStream
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting standards in the finance industry
• Experience working in a multinational corporation or a publicly traded company
