We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial insights, conducting in-depth analysis, and supporting decision-making processes across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Comfortable engaging with production floor teams to gather insights and firsthand understanding of financial issues facing the organization
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives
- Agility in addressing immediate challenges and proposing effective alternatives
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights for strategic projects
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, providing detailed explanations and action plans
- Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational efficiency
- Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting activities
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role
- Demonstrated positive impact in assessing financial risks and develop meaningful solutions
- In-depth knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial statement analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including expertise in spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis, and complex formula creation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences to include all levels of management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, other electronic database systems
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools like Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or OneStream
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting standards in the finance industry
- Experience working in a multinational corporation or a publicly traded company
