The Senior FP&A Analyst reports to the local Controller and collaborate closely with the local business leaders, budget holders, finance team, regional and global finance team. This role encompasses financial planning including all P&L aspects/ lines and cash forecasting for the school’s operations in Brazil. It is also responsible for all reporting to budget holders and leaders. The successful candidate will ensure robust financial processes and provide actionable insights to support strategic decisions and organizational growth.
What You'll Do
Financial Planning and Budgeting
Own the financial planning process, including the preparation and maintenance of the annual budget, periodic forecasts and monthly budget control reports.
Update financial models monthly with actual results and revise budgets forecast as necessary, providing insights to maintain financial sustainability.
Produce detailed reports for management and stakeholders, providing insights into the institution’s financial health.
Collaborate with functional leaders to assess cost projections and identify budget impacts.
Cash Forecasting and Management
Support treasury to the weekly cash forecasting, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Management Reporting
Prepare and review monthly management reporting packages for senior leadership and the Board.
Provide detailed analyses, insights, and narrative explanations to support decision-making.
Process Improvement
Evaluate current planning and reporting procedures, proposing and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
Business Partnership
Serve as a financial advisor to local and Regional teams, supporting strategic projects and operational decisions.
Build strong relationships across departments, fostering collaboration and alignment with financial goals.
Create financial models to simulate different scenarios and their financial implications.
Participate in the formulation of long-term strategies, helping to identify growth opportunities and resource optimization.
Develops and propose pricing strategies for tuition and services.
Works closely with admissions and enrollments team and data analyst to monitor FTEs and discounts, providing insights to lever results.
Technical Skills:
Advanced Excel modeling and proficiency in PowerPoint. Experience with Protheus is a plus
Proficiency with data query and analysis tools.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Communication and Reporting:
Ability to present financial data through reports, charts, and written narratives.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills:
Proven ability to collaborate with internal business partners across different levels and functions.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A or related fields, preferably in the education or services sector.
Advanced English proficiency is desirable.
