Senior Full-Stack Developer
The ASUS Robotics & AI Center is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our global research and development team. This role is central to designing and building responsive, high-performance web applications that support our robotics and AI technologies.
We are looking for an experienced engineer with deep expertise in front-end and back-end development, a strong grasp of system architecture, and a commitment to writing maintainable, scalable code. The ideal candidate will bring a user-first mindset, enthusiasm for working across the stack, and a passion for delivering intuitive, data-driven interfaces that bridge advanced technologies with real-world users.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement configurable, user-friendly dashboards for real-time and historical data visualization.
- Work with other stakeholders to reduce latency in visualizations of real-time data.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-commented source code.
- Work in a cross-functional team that takes ownership of the full software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other teams to make optimal software architecture design decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- 7+ years of industry work experience or equivalent.
- Experience with modern front-end and back-end development practices.
- Hands-on experience with developing web applications. Familiarity with scientific data visualization is a plus.
- Experience building customer-facing solutions for authentication and authorization.
- Familiarity with microservices and resource-oriented architectures.
- Understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, design patterns, source control management, and test automation.
- Expert in JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Knowledge of Python, C++, and/or Go is a plus.
