We're hiring a senior-leaning Full-Stack Engineer to work on Jobscan, a multi-domain SaaS product helping job seekers optimize resumes using data, rules-based logic, and AI-assisted analysis. This is a true end-to-end role: frontend, backend, infrastructure, and production ownership. You'll ship user-facing features that span SPA UI, APIs, background jobs, and cloud infrastructure — then measure, iterate, and improve them.
Core responsibilities - Frontend
Build and evolve complex user flowsWork with a modern SPA stack (Vue)Implement performance- and conversion-aware UIInstrument analytics and experimentsHandle cross-domain behavior, browser storage, auth/session edge cases
Core responsibilities - Backend
Design and maintain APIs for resume parsing, scoring, matching, and reportingBuild background jobs and queue-based workflows for async and long-running workIntegrate external services (document processing, payments, AI providers)Own data correctness, migrations, and query performanceWrite testable, maintainable business logicWe care more about clear boundaries and correctness than framework purity.
Core responsibilities - Data & AI (product-facing)
Ship AI-assisted features (analysis, rewriting, evaluation)Work with structured outputs (JSON schemas, validators)Understand cost, latency, and quality tradeoffsUse analytics data to guide product decisionsYou don’t need ML theory—but you must be comfortable treating AI as a production dependency with cost, latency, and failure modes.
Core responsibilities - DevOps & Infrastructure
Work in a containerized, multi-service environmentImprove CI/CD pipelines and release safetyDebug production issues across services and domainsParticipate in reliability, observability, and cost optimizationBe comfortable reading infra configs—not just writing app code. Experience operating services on AWS (ECS, S3, SQS, CloudWatch, etc)
Required skills & qualifications
5+ years building production web applicationsStrong full-stack fundamentals with depth in at least one areaExperience with modern frontend frameworks (Vue preferred), backend APIs (Laravel preferred), and relational databases (MySQL preferred)Containerized environments (Docker)Experience shipping and maintaining real user-facing featuresProven ability to make sound technical trade-offs—knowing when to prioritize speed, when to invest in quality, and when cost mattersCare about product outcomes as much as technical quality—you understand how architecture, performance, and code decisions impact users and business metrics
Preferred skills & qualifications
Experience developing custom WordPress pluginsExperience with Elasticsearch or equivalentResume / recruiting / ATS-related domain experienceExperience modernizing or migrating legacy stacks
