Senior General Accountant (Global SSC)
As a team of General Accountants in Bangalore, you will be responsible for processing clear reconciliations and a group of reports on behalf of multiple entities around the group in multiple regions. This is an integral role and requires accurate execution, a strong attention to detail and a good understanding of the figures.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure timely and accurate intercompany reconciliations across global entities; investigate and resolve mismatches.
- Coordinate with counterparty finance teams to agree on balances within defined timelines.
- Prepare and review intercompany confirmations and support audit queries.
- Support intercompany eliminations during group consolidation.
- Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for all intercompany transactions
- Drive process improvements and standardisation across intercompany processes globally.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Management experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong Excel and data handling skills
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiar with the Oracle ERP system
- Experience of working to deadlines
- Ability to challenge the numbers and explain variances
Desirable:
- French language skills if possible
- Qualified Accountant
- Years of experience- 5-7 years
