About the Role
Bold Business is hiring on behalf of a US-based Commercial Interiors Furniture Dealer representing leading global brands including Steelcase, Haworth, and MillerKnoll.
We’re looking for a Senior Environmental & Experiential Designer to lead the creation of immersive, brand-driven workplace environments. This role blends environmental graphic design (EGD), spatial design, and technical execution, with a strong emphasis on translating brand identity into impactful built experiences.
You will play a key role from concept through execution, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-impact design solutions that elevate how people interact with physical spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of experiential graphic design (EGD) projects including branded environments, signage systems, and wayfinding
- Translate client objectives and brand strategies into immersive spatial design concepts
- Facilitate design discussions, workshops, and presentations with clients and internal stakeholders
- Develop 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations to effectively communicate design intent
- Produce detailed, production-ready documentation, including fabrication and installation drawings
- Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and project teams to ensure feasibility and execution accuracy
- Ensure all design outputs align with brand standards, ADA compliance, and real-world build constraints
- Contribute to creative direction and concept development across multiple projects
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and innovations in experiential and workplace design
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- 5+ years of experience in Environmental Graphic Design (EGD), experiential design, or commercial interiors
- Strong portfolio showcasing branded environments, signage, wayfinding systems, and spatial design work
- Proven ability to take projects from concept through execution
- Experience working with commercial interiors, workplace environments, or furniture dealership projects
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and construction documentation
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and client-facing teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Technical Skills (All Required):
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Revit (documentation and coordination)
- SketchUp (3D modeling and visualization)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Familiarity with rendering tools (e.g., Enscape, Lumion) is a plus
- Bonus: Motion design tools (After Effects, Premiere) or advanced 3D platforms (Rhino, etc.)
