As a Senior HR Business Partner at our Amsterdam Headquarters, you work closely with the leaders of different departments: Control, Legal, Indirect Procurement, HR, Accounting, and Analytics. These functions keep our organization running, and you focus on the people and organizational priorities that help them stay strong, agile, and future-ready.
You are a strategic sparring partner, a driver of organizational change, and a culture ambassador. With a strong business mindset and deep people expertise, you ensure our teams are set up to perform, collaborate, and grow sustainably.
What you’ll be doing
- Co-create and implement the people strategy for the departments, collaborating closely with functional leaders and HR Centers of Expertise.
- Guide organizational change, ensuring teams remain focused, motivated, and aligned throughout periods of transformation.
- Advise and challenge leaders on team design, performance, talent, culture, and leadership effectiveness.
- Leverage people data and dashboards to generate insights and drive informed decision-making.
- Design and roll out people programs that strengthen development, engagement, and team effectiveness.
- Act as the bridge between business and HR, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and coordinated actions.
- Lead or contribute to global HR initiatives, including our House of Careers career development framework.
- Coach and support HR Advisors within our Central Head Office HRBP team.
Qualifications
- At least 10+ years of relevant experience in a strategic HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role, ideally within an international or fast-growing consumer-facing environment.
- Strong organizational and change management capabilities, with the ability to translate complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at higher levels.
- A balanced approach combining strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving.
- A data-driven and forward-thinking mindset, paired with a genuine focus on people and culture.
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a strong plus).
- A collaborative attitude, resilience, coaching ability, and a healthy sense of humor.
