Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Job Duration: 18 months (with possibilities of extension)

Description:

· Working on Affiliate business for Video on Demand.

· Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.

· Will work on new application development as well as enhancements on the existing applications.

· Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

· Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

· Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

· Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

· Typically reports to a manager.

· Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.

· Extensive experience developing web applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate and REST Web services.

· Expertise with Core Java 6 Expertise with JavaScript and JQuery Experience with HTML5, CSS3

· Experience with JBoss application server and Jenkins tool for continuous integration
