Senior Power BI Developer

• Lead the design and development of complex Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand reporting needs.
• Design and implement efficient data models to support reporting needs.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, cloud platforms, and APIs, into Power BI.
• Develop and optimize complex DAX formulas and Power Query transformations.
• Deliver advanced, interactive, and visually appealing dashboards.
• Ensure visualizations align with business requirements and support key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain consistency in design and adhere to data visualization best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports/dashboards.
• Optimize data models and query performance to handle large datasets.
• Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) and other data access controls.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Develop and maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and processes.

• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power BI solutions.

Requirements

• Expertise in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing data.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., SAP BO) is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 3 years focused on Power BI.
• Proven track record of delivering complex Power BI solutions in a professional setting.
