Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver critical initiatives within a large, long-term corporate systems environment. This role sits within a strategic portfolio responsible for uplifting organisational capability, meeting evolving business and regulatory obligations, and ensuring systems remain future-ready over the coming years.

You will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects, typically managing 3–4 initiatives at any given time. Working within an established project delivery methodology, you will plan, execute, and govern projects to ensure successful outcomes aligned to strategic objectives.

The role operates in a complex stakeholder environment and requires strong collaboration across business, technical teams, and external vendors. You will be expected to take ownership, drive momentum, and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.

Qualifications

• Excellent project management capability with strong process and governance knowledge

• Extensive stakeholder management experience across multiple levels within an organisation and a proven ability to work with a wide range of people across IT disciplines.

• Proven experience in managing complex project budgets

• Proven experience managing multiple project schedules simultaneously and cross project interdependencies

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and governance

• Highly effective collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Experience with procurement and vendor management

• Experience with utilities, government or other highly regulated industries
