Senior Research Associate/Associate Scientist - Analytical Development

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Research Associate/ Associate Scientist to join our Analytical Development team. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of industry or academic experience and a strong foundation in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or a related field. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to method development, sample analysis, and data interpretation in support of drug discovery and development programs.
Major Responsibilities Include:
1. Perform routine and non-routine analysis of samples using HPLC, GC, Karl-Fisher and other analytical techniques
2. Assist in the development, optimization, and validation of analytical methods
3. Prepare buffers, reagents, and samples for analysis
4. Maintain laboratory notebooks and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
5. Analyze and interpret data, and present findings to cross-functional teams
6. Support troubleshooting and maintenance of analytical instrumentation
7. Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and deliverables
Requirements
• BS or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related discipline (PhDs with relevant experience may apply)
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in an academic or industry setting
• Hands-on experience with HPLC is required
• Experience working with polymeric systems or suspensions is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with other analytical techniques (e.g., UV-Vis, LC-MS, GC) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Benefits
Expected Salary Range:
- The base pay range for this position is expected to be $85,000-115,000 annually.
- Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, capabilities, and experience.
- The total compensation package for this position also includes equity, bonus, and benefits.
