We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Java to join a highly collaborative and agile engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, distributed systems, and PaaS environments, and will enjoy solving complex, large-scale technical challenges. This role is well-suited for engineers with experience in product-driven companies or fast-paced startup environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Build and optimize microservices and distributed systems to support high-traffic, low-latency applications.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability through thoughtful architecture and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Leverage cloud and platform services to deploy, monitor, and scale applications efficiently.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and apply relevant innovations to enhance system design and functionality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with strong proficiency in Core Java concepts.
• Extensive experience building microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining distributed systems in high-throughput, low-latency environments.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, with the ability to apply them to real-world engineering problems.
• Experience working in PaaS environments and designing solutions that effectively leverage cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment while maintaining high standards of code quality and system performance.
