Senior Software Engineer - SQL Developer + .Net

Job Title: SQL Developer with Power BI and .NET Expertise

Location: Remote, with the flexibility to work from Indore, Mumbai, or Bangalore as required.

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled SQL Developers with expertise in Power BI and .NET development to 
join our team. The role involves optimizing SQL queries, managing relational databases, and 
building robust backend solutions using .NET. You will create dynamic Power BI dashboards, 
ensure seamless data integration, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver 
impactful solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects in a

Key Responsibilities:

• SQL Development & Optimization:
o Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to ensure high performance.
o Design and manage relational database schemas, relationships, and data integrity.
o Analyse and improve database performance and resolve bottlenecks.

• Power BI Reporting:

o Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Power BI.
o Connect Power BI to various data sources and create efficient data models.
o Define and implement KPIs and metrics based on business requirements.

• .NET Development:

o Build and maintain robust backend solutions using .NET frameworks.
o Integrate databases with .NET applications to ensure seamless data flow.
o Collaborate with front-end developers to create end-to-end solutions.

• Data Management:

o Implement ETL processes to transform and load data from multiple sources.
o Ensure data quality, consistency, and security.

• Collaboration & Documentation:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver 
technical solutions.
o Document workflows, database structures, and system architecture for future 
reference.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:

o Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a 
related field.
o 3-5 years of experience as SQL/BI Developer, minimum 2 years of .NET 
Development.

• Technical Skills:

o Strong knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and relational database design.
o Experience creating dynamic dashboards, reports, and data models.
o Hands-on experience in .NET (C# or VB.NET) for backend development.
o Familiarity with RDBMS like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
o Strong understanding of database relationships, indexing, and normalization.
o (Good to have) Experience with cloud databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
o (Good to have) Experience with ClickHouse, Vertica, or other columnar databases.

• Soft Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
o Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts 
to non-technical stakeholders.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
