Join Us in Building the Future of Home Robotics

At Sunday, we're developing personal robots to reclaim the hours lost to repetitive tasks. We're focused on an ambitious goal to make generalized robots broadly accessible, enabling households to take back quality time.

We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you.

What to Expect

As a Hardware System Technical Program Manager at Sunday, you will lead hardware teams through all phases of new product introduction (NPI)—from initial concept and goal definition, through prototyping and testing, to production ramp and launch. You will own the hardware timeline, map out high-level cross-functional deliverables, and work with cross-functional leaders to outline gate deliverables, ensuring consistent progress toward shipping our home robot product.

You are passionate about user-centered design and use it as a guiding principle to drive team decision-making and product quality. You’re a pragmatic optimist who thrives in dynamic environments, working alongside low-ego teammates who enjoy solving complex problems together.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and manage project schedules through all phases of the NPI process

  • Drive cross-functional day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives

  • Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management

  • Lead cross-functional communication between project teams and external vendors

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of combined experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) project management and mechanical engineering

  • BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • Ability to create and manage project schedules

  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills

  • Flexible, calm, and kind in the face of ambiguity

  • Demonstrated experience managing a project though full lifecycle of the Product Development Process (PDP) from concept through launch

  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information to the correct audience

  • Experience collaborating with and facilitating communication across Design, Engineering, Operations teams and OEM partners to meet aggressive schedules and quality goals

Nice to Have

  • Ability to independently drive projects through rapid development cycles

  • A deep understanding of consumer electronics Product Development Process structure

  • Experience defining or customizing PDP infrastructure processes and tools to support company efficiency

At Sunday Robotics, we’re building technology shaped by real people — curious, creative, and diverse. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. Studies show that women and underrepresented groups often hold back unless they meet 100% of the criteria — we don’t want that to be the reason we miss out on great talent.
