Responsibilities
Lead the design and analysis of overhead and underground transmission lines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsConduct feasibility studies, route selection, and site assessments for new transmission line projectsUtilizing GIS information to aide in designDevelop detailed engineering specifications, drawings, and calculations for transmission line componentsPerform structural analysis using advanced software tools to ensure design integrity and reliabilityCollaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure timely project delivery within budget constraintsMentor and guide junior engineers in technical skills and professional development
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Masters degree and further education is preferredPE and/or PMP certification highly preferred15+ years of transmission line design experienceexperience using PLS-CADDPrevious experience leading a team highly preferredMust possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skillsMust be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
