Senior Travel & Mobility Specialist Job Summary:
The Senior Travel & Mobility Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end corporate travel operations with a strong focus on visa processing, immigration, and employee mobility. The role ensures compliance with country regulations, supports business continuity, and provides expert guidance on short-term and long-term assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end visa and immigration processes for business travelers and assignees (short-term, long-term, and rotational assignments).
- Coordinate employee mobility activities, including work permits, residence permits, and assignment documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact with embassies, immigration authorities, vendors, and mobility service providers.
- Prepare, review, and submit all required visa and mobility documentation in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Provide clear visa and mobility guidance to employees, HR, and business stakeholders.
- Track visa timelines, renewals, and expiries to ensure compliance and avoid business disruption.
- Support travel arrangements in coordination with mobility requirements (tickets, accommodation, insurance).
- Maintain accurate records, trackers, and reports related to visas, mobilization, and travel activities.
- Handle escalations and urgent cases efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure continuous process improvement and adherence to company travel and mobility policies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, travel, tourism, business, or a relevant field
• 5+ years of visa-issuing experience.
• Proven working experience with visas and work permits is a must
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively
• Ability to handle crises
• Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred
