Description of Duties:

Title : Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Classification: Non-Exempt

Hourly Range*:  $21 - $22

Working Hours:  Monday - Friday, Onsite

Schedule: 9:00AM – 5:30PM

Location: HQ:14801 Califa St., Van Nuys, CA 91411

DÔEN is looking for a reliable and organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our growing team in Los Angeles.  This role will assist with the day to day shipping and receiving duties at our headquarters  in Van Nuys, CA. Responsibilities will range from receiving and logging the incoming shipments on a daily basis and informing the respective team of the packages. They will support the Director of Logistics reporting any delays or inventory issues. Attention to detail, accuracy, and maintaining efficiency is important for this position. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Teams (Production, Product Development, Design, and Tech Design), Comms/PR Team, Logistics Team, Operations Team with receiving and shipping of packages.
  • Maintain a daily receiving log of the incoming packages and notify respective teams as well as distribute the packages to respective personnel.
  • Create shipments using FedEx Ship Manager and  MyDHL+ as instructed.
  • Review DHL Report on a daily basis for smooth transition of the shipment and provide necessary documents to DHL team to clear packages.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments on the packages that are to be shipped ensuring that deadlines are met. 
  • Support Operations Team with package movement and ad hoc projects  as needed.
  • Shipping & Receiving Functions and ad-hoc duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with manager, co-workers and other personnel.
  • Able to follow set procedures and help identify improvements/ gaps.
  • 1-2 year experience with MyDHL+ for international packages.
  •  1-2 years of experience with FedEx Ship Manager for Domestic packages.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where managing multiple tasks is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HTS codes lookup a plus.
  • Flexible, highly organized and a team player.
  • Basic Excel Skills preferred and NetSuite experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.
  • Periods sitting at a desk, typing, sketching and working on a computer.
  • Able to lift/move/push/pull objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time.
  • Able to operate equipment such as computers, copy machines, and phones.
  • Must be able to access various areas of a given location.
