Position Overview
What you'll do
- Process returned merchandise and investigate the reason for returns.
- Maintain an accurate returns log and manage open return items until completion.
- Communicate return details to the production team through meetings and updates.
- Prepare returned goods for resale or disposition, including shipping to the Decorator’s Outlet.
- Issue credits, repairs, or replacements based on customer claims.
- Collect necessary documentation from customers to verify return claims.
- Generate returns metrics, charts, and reports for tracking and analysis.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including COVID-related cleaning tasks.
- All other duties as assigned
Who you are
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience with basic office equipment (computer, phone).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to use and read a tape measure.
- General knowledge of fabrics and production equipment.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting over 30 pounds.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and departments.
- Ability to pass a color-blind test.
- Closed toe / closed heel shoes (tennis shoes preferred)
