RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Strategy & Growth:
- Plan and manage social media content calendars to maintain a consistent and strategic posting schedule.
- Develop and implement strategies that increase followers, engagement, and platform visibility.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, including engagement, reach, impressions, and conversions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve social media performance.
- Set up and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Track campaign performance and maintain reporting dashboards for monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
- Provide leadership with insights on trends, growth opportunities, and platform performance.
- Project manage social media initiatives from concept to execution.
Community Engagement:
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner.
- Foster an active online community through conversations, polls, and interactive content.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers, partners, and advocates to expand RHYTHM’s reach.
Content Creation & Platform Development:
- Brainstorm and develop creative content ideas that help RHYTHM’s platforms grow while pointing people to Jesus.
- Create, edit, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Produce a variety of content, including graphics, short-form video, stories, and infographics.
- Stay current with social media trends and emerging platform features.
- Ensure all content aligns with RHYTHM’s brand voice, values, and messaging.
- Support content creators and advertising teams with SEO-informed content and platform best practices.
MUST-HAVES
- Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience growth strategies.
- Ability to analyze metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Creative thinker with excellent written communication skills.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience working in a nonprofit, ministry, or church environment.
- Experience managing paid social media campaigns.
- Familiarity with analytics tools, reporting dashboards, and scheduling platforms.
- Experience collaborating with creative teams on campaigns or digital content.
DAY-TO-DAY
- We’re a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we’re in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we’re supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.
- There’s a lot to accomplish each week, so we’re pretty fast-paced. We’re also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
- Yes, we work hard. But we’re good at playing hard, too. We’re a creative staff, so there’s no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
