Ogilvy seeks to recruit a Social Media Manager to join its award-winning team, supporting social-first strategy, content creation & implementation, performance analysis and community engagement for high-profile clients across social platforms.
Reporting to the Group Account Director - Social Media, the successful candidate will contribute to the execution of social-first content planning & brand campaigns. They will have a client-facing capacity & collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is published accurately and on time, while monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve engagement and results.
The role is ideal for someone passionate about digital communication who is eager to grow within a fast-paced agency environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in social media management, content creation, publishing and overall digital communication strategy.
- Passion for Social Media & Digital Communication.
- Proficiency in handling all major social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X).
- Proven ability to create content & cover events/activations through creative storytelling across short-form video, photo, and audio formats via CapCut, Edits, Canva et al.
- Proven experience in working with AI tools and systems is required.
- Solid understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
- Experience with social media management or listening tools (e.g. Emplifi, Sprinklr, Brandwatch or similar) will be considered a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with Account, Creative and Production teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Manage, schedule, and publish content across all client social media channels, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Plan and coordinate the cross-platform social media content plan, optimizing and adjusting it based on performance and priorities.
- Travel to & attend client events & activations to create live or on-site authentic, native content tailored for social media on an ad-hoc basis.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to evaluate always-on & campaign effectiveness, while identifying areas for improvement.
- Co-develop and oversee the execution of the brand’s social media and content strategy in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Identify emerging trends, insights, and growth opportunities to strengthen brand visibility, engagement, and community development.
- Write and adapt short-form copy in both Greek and English for posts and captions.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and performance summaries for internal and client teams.
