Software Engineer - Customer Care
Are you passionate about software engineering and eager to make an impact in the world of industrial automation? As a Software Engineer - Customer Care at AMF Bakery Systems, you will design and optimize the software of our advanced bakery machines, support customers with smart solutions, and bring projects to life during on-site commissioning. In this role, you combine technical expertise with creativity to keep production lines running and continuously improve our systems.
What do we offer you?
Monthly salary between €3.000,00 and €4.500,00 based on a 40-hour work week (depending on your knowledge and experience), excluding allowances
Travel allowance (€0,23 per km) and an excellent pension plan (PME)
Long-term employment contract (we are not looking for freelancers/contractors)
Flexible working hours, with the possibility to work partly from home
8% holiday allowance

Responsibilities of Software Engineer - Customer Care
Software / Program design of industrial bakery machines
Onsite commissioning with R&M projects / Service Jobs
Design solutions for end-of-life products
Out-of-the-box solutions for customers who are at a standstill
Redesigning designs based on current production techniques
Visiting customers to design the best solution
Optimizing processes and software (IT) for our legacy data
You work closely with other experts to develop the right technological solutions for our customers.
You participate in multidisciplinary projects
Ensuring accurate documentation and maintenance of the programming systems
Graduated in controls engineering or 3 years of relevant experience
1- 3 years of experience in the industry (food industry is a plus)
Demonstrable affinity with software engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Dutch and English
Autonomy and sense of responsibility
Systematic work attitude, goal-oriented
Mindset ''continuous improvement''
