SentiLink supports a variety of ways to work, ranging from fully remote to in-office. We operate as a digital-first company with strong collaboration across the U.S. and India. We maintain physical offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Chicago in the U.S., and in Gurugram (Delhi) and Bengaluru in India. If you’re located near one of these offices, we would love for you to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design. For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office.
As a Software Engineer, Full Stack/Backend you will be responsible for development and maintenance of our web application platform used for fraud analysis. You’ll be working closely with Product & Design, Solutions Engineering, Data Science, Infrastructure and the Data Platform teams to build new products and enhance our existing suite of tools.
Technologies: React, Golang, Python, PostgreSQL (RDS), Docker, AWS (Lambda, Cognito and other standard technologies)
This is an onsite role based out of our Austin, TX office.

Code, test, debug, document, ship and maintain software applications using established coding standards and methodologies
Design and build out APIs that will be consumed by the UI to surface application data
Partner with product management to drive agile delivery of both existing and new products based on project requirements, UX design, and industry best practices
Ensure new software meets quality standards by writing unit and end-to-end automated tests
Work with product, data, and other stakeholders to analyze usage and product metrics to inform key strategic decisions
Troubleshoot, debug, resolve production issues as they arise
Work cross-functionally to resolve complex partner (customer) problems
Ensure platform and services meet SLA requirements; on call rotation for production issues, along with the rest of engineering
Develop a deep understanding of the fraud domain and apply that knowledge in your solutions.
Get hands-on development and deployment experience using our tech stack and embrace opportunities to make it better.
Strong programming skills including proficiency in at least one language (Python, Go, Java, C++)
Experience with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
Good grasp of relational database fundamentals, and comfort writing SQL queries
Experience building or consuming API based products using python, golang or similar technologies
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, interpersonal skills and a sense of humor (enjoy the journey)
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with different teams to iterate quickly
Experience using version control systems like GitHub or similar tools is a plus
Experience working in a scrum / Agile development environment is a plus
Experience with Docker and AWS technologies is a plus, but we will help you learn on the job
