Software Engineer - ROR

Devsinc is seeking a passionate Software Engineer with experience in Ruby on Rails (ROR) and ReactJS to join our growing product engineering team. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications that are scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Product team to design, develop, and deliver new features and improvements.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails, and build interactive frontends with ReactJS.
• Design efficient SQL database schemas, queries, and optimize performance.
• Implement and integrate complex features with internal and external systems/APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high code quality.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Collaborate with design, QA, and product management teams to ensure smooth delivery of features.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
  

Requirements

• 6–18 months of professional experience in backend development with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience using ReactJS for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Strong command of SQL and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience in building and integrating product features.
• Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
• Ability to write scalable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and integrations with external services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a product-focused environment.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with deployment, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as RSpec or Jest
