The role focuses on building robust, high-performance backend systems that power quantitative and financial engineering workflows used directly in live market scenarios. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python to support quantitative and financial engineering use cases
• Build scalable, efficient, and reliable services used in production market environments
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and engineers to translate models and strategies into production-ready systems
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code with a strong focus on performance and reliability
• Debug, optimize, and enhance existing systems to handle real-time and data-intensive workloads
• Contribute to system design discussions and continuously improve engineering best practices
• Ensure high code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to software development standards

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 0–2 years of experience in Python backend development or strong academic/project exposure
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems
• Excellent problem-solving ability and a solid understanding of core computer science concepts
• Strong interest in quantitative systems, financial markets, or high-performance engineering environments
• Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced setting, and collaborate with technically strong teams
• Passion for building systems that have direct, real-world impact in financial markets
