ABOUT PROJECT
This project, funded by the US Government, focuses on developing a Human Resources System for various Ministries in a Middle Eastern country. The initiative is critical to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of human resource management across multiple departments.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in business analysisExperience on midsize or large projects (10+ people)Strong negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skillsExperience in conducting the requirements elicitation sessions, familiar with different requirements elicitation techniquesStrong business requirements building and management skillsCapability to choose the optimal requirements organization and modeling techniqueAbility to see the big picture, plan the work approach properly, and move forward with small stepsAbility to work independently, organize proper stakeholder management, and own BA processes workflowAbility to adapt to project changes during the project flowExperience in process description, familiarity with BPMN notation and different process description toolsCompetency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and OutlookUpper-Intermediate level of EnglishWilling and able to undertake business travel to Iraq for periods of 4–6 weeks per visit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define business needs and business change driversManage customer expectations and translate needs into effective solutionsElicit requirements using different BA techniques (interviews, focus groups, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis, etc.)Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needsDocument, analyze, and prioritize detailed business requirements based on users and business needsProactively identify improvements that would increase efficiency or productivity in work effort, processes, or application featuresEstablish and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholdersPlan and Coordinate BA team at the projectConduct BA team coaching and mentoring (subordinate RAs and BAs, QAs, etc.)Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices, as well as other proceduresDevelop requirements and other project documentation templatesConduct requirements audit
