We are looking for a Specialist Business Analyst to join us in Bengaluru. This team plays a pivotal role in driving successful client implementations of our EquiLend Spire platform, ensuring that clients achieve value quickly and consistently. You will act as the bridge between our clients and our technology teams, translating business workflows into clear and actionable solutions while ensuring smooth delivery and client satisfaction.

As a Specialist Business Analyst, you will be hands-on in shaping client implementations, guiding internal teams, and applying your knowledge of financial services to deliver solutions that make a measurable impact. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing center of expertise in Bengaluru, where your role will directly influence client relationships, delivery quality, and our global delivery model.

What you’ll do

  • Lead business analysis for complex client implementations of the Spire platform, ensuring client needs are translated into practical, high-quality solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client-side stakeholders throughout analysis phases, driving clear communication and expectation management.
  • Gather, document, and validate requirements across securities lending, trade lifecycle, settlements, and post-trade operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery, ISD, and Professional Services teams to produce functional specifications, report mappings, and integration artefacts.
  • Use SQL and data analysis to support report validation, migration, and troubleshooting during implementations.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and user acceptance testing to ensure client sign-off and successful go-live outcomes.
  • Identify risks and potential delivery issues early, ensuring swift resolution and reducing escalations.
  • Mentor junior analysts in Bengaluru, embedding standards and sharing subject matter expertise.
  • Partner with colleagues across regions to align delivery approaches and provide consistent, SME-led coverage globally.

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of product business analyst experience within the BFSI domain
  • Previous experience working cross-functionally to ensure the smooth implementation of the product roadmap.
  • Proven track record in client-facing roles, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to turn complex workflows into clear functional and technical artefacts.
  • Solid SQL skills, with the ability to analyze data sets, validate requirements, and support reporting and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments, including sprint planning and backlog management.
  • Evidence of improving throughput, reducing delivery delays, and raising solution quality in prior roles.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering knowledge-sharing and adherence to best practices.
  • Familiarity with Securities Finance, Books and Records systems, settlements, or trade lifecycle processes is highly desirable.

Role Location Benefits

  • Hybrid Working: Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely each week
  • Variable Pay: Annual performance related variable pay award to reward your performance and contributions to the company’s success.
  • Generous Vacation Days Per Year: Take advantage of paid vacation days annually, plus public bank holidays.
  • Family Health Insurance Coverage: Comprehensive health insurance coverage for you and your dependents available from your first day.
  • Personal Accidental Injury Insurance: Feel secure with personal accidental injury insurance provided from the start of your employment.
  • Annual Team Building Retreat: Participate in an annual team-building retreat at a new and exciting location each year
