The Senior Backend Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling backend systems for web and mobile applications. This role requires strong technical depth, ownership mindset, and close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality software products in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and delivering backend software for web-based and mobile products
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership teams to influence technical architecture and product roadmaps
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and data storage
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies and shipping production-ready code at scale
• Ability to independently design, code, test, and deploy high-quality backend services within defined timelines
• Working knowledge of adjacent technical areas such as Android, Machine Learning, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to cross-domain discussions
• Pragmatic problem-solving approach that balances technical excellence with product and business needs
• Strong ownership mindset with a proactive, entrepreneurial attitude toward identifying and solving problems
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams
• Comfortable working in a globally distributed setup with teammates across multiple geographies
