Sr Product Designer
This is what you will do:
Work as part of an international team on one or multiple projects
Think and work like an entrepreneur. Lots of freedom, lots of responsibility.
Take complicated user requirements and translate them into simple, intuitive UI/UX
Take ownership for everything related to design
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field, MS preferred
- 4+ years experience, consumer electronics product development
- Experience with high volume, highly cosmetic electronics enclosure materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience integrating electromechanical component modules (audio, display, battery, antenna, PCB's, etc.)
- Strong 3D CAD skills (ProE preferred) including top-down design, robust parametric modelling, and advanced surface generation
- Product validation experience (UL, FCC, environmental testing, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with shop tools and prototyping
- Demonstrated project leadership and mentoring skills
