Key Responsibilities:

This role supports Crete Professionals Alliance and its partner firms through a centralized shared services environment.

Compensation Analysis & Support

  • Support job evaluations, job architecture maintenance, and salary structure administration.

  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and market pricing using salary surveys and external data sources.

  • Assist with annual compensation planning processes, including merit increases and incentive analysis.

  • Prepare compensation reports and insights to support leadership decision-making.

Benefits & Retirement Administration

  • Support administration of health, welfare, and wellness programs, including enrollments, changes, audits, and reconciliations.

  • Assist with retirement plan administration (e.g., 401(k)), including contribution reviews, payroll coordination, and vendor reporting.

  • Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits and retirement programs, escalating complex issues as needed.

Payroll & Data Coordination

  • Partner with Payroll to support accurate deductions, employer contributions, and benefit-related payroll processing.

  • Assist with payroll-to-benefits and payroll-to-retirement reconciliations.

  • Support payroll and benefits audits by preparing data, reports, and documentation.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Assist with compliance requirements related to compensation and benefits (e.g., FLSA, ACA, ERISA, state pay transparency laws).

  • Maintain documentation, process guides, and audit support materials for total rewards programs.

  • Support data requests for audits, filings, and required reporting.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain total rewards dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses.

  • Track program costs, utilization, and trends to support budgeting and forecasting.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of total rewards data across HRIS, payroll, and vendor platforms.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and employee experience related to total rewards.

  • Support special projects such as benefit renewals, system implementations, and program enhancements.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR, compensation, benefits, payroll, or total rewards.

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; ability to work with large data sets.

  • Working knowledge of compensation and benefits fundamentals.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi-state organizations.

  • Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and benefits administration platforms.

  • Professional certifications such as CCP (in progress), SHRM-CP, or CEBS (in progress).
