What You’ll Do:
CoreUX & Expansion team is dedicated to shaping seamless, intuitive experiences that power growth and engagement. The team drives the evolution of core user flows, expansion pathways, and in-app experiences to unlock customer success at scale. About the role: As a Tech Lead Staff Engineer, you will lead a small team of 2–3 engineers while remaining hands-on in development. You will drive engineering efforts and code ownership across critical product areas, ensuring a smooth, reliable, and bug-free customer experience. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with PMs, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and deliver high-impact solutions. You will set and uphold high standards for usability, code quality, and technical excellence, guiding the team to build scalable and user-friendly experiences.
Who You Are
- You have 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years working with modern JavaScript frameworks.
- You are an expert in JavaScript, React.js, and GraphQL, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade features at scale.
- You have experience leading small engineering teams, balancing hands-on coding with mentoring and technical guidance.
- You care deeply about usability, accessibility, and performance, and have successfully shipped customer-facing UI/UX improvements.
- You excel at cross-functional collaboration, working closely with PMs, designers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
Preferred:
- Experience with TypeScript and strong typing practices.
- Background in design systems or component libraries, with an eye for scalable, reusable UI patterns.
- Familiarity with navigation and information architecture design for complex applications.
- Exposure to SaaS growth and expansion flows (sign-up, licensing, in-app guides, surveys).
- Knowledge of telemetry, analytics, and experimentation frameworks to measure and improve user experience.

The base pay for this position ranges from $188,000- $275,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility)

Our Workplace
While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
