Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics,
Economics or any other quantitative disciplines
Experience
Understand all required elements of the existing
models-input datasets, independent variables,
development sample and current sample
Understand currently used standard model validation
practices
Conduct statistical analysis to measure performance of
the existing models
Extract data from multiple platforms as required for
analytical projects
Conduct statistical analysis across credit, fraud and
insurance arenas under the supervision of a Senior
Statistician
Create detailed documentation outlining design and
technical specifications of each solution
Perform QA analysis on solutions developed by other
statisticians
Knowledge of credit and lending desirable, but not
necessary
Ability to explain analytical output in plain English
Experience in building logistic and linear regression
solutions or knowledge of alternative methodologies
preferred, but not necessary
Experience with SAS and ideally in a UNIX
environment desirable, but not necessary
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint) desirable, but not necessary
Experience with WPS, Knowledge STUDIO and other
statistical packages a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a
MUST
