Join Oakland Feather River Camp as a Summer Camp Community Support Specialist (aka Outreach Program Specialist). You’ll help coordinate our outreach programs, support families, and assist with camper logistics - all while promoting an equitable, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Optional housing and meals are provided if you want to live onsite.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate outreach programs and family support initiatives
Assist families with logistics, gear, and communication needs
Support staff in delivering an inclusive and equitable camper experience
Track participation, help with data collection, and support reporting
Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth daily operations
Who You Are:
Passionate about equity, inclusion, and supporting diverse communities
Organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable communicating with families, staff, and community partners; Spanish speakers strongly encouraged to apply
18+ with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Enjoy working hands-on in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
