Position Summary
e.l.f. Cosmetics is looking for a Summer Intern, Order & Sample Operations to support the sample request process across all brands. In this role, you’ll help manage incoming requests, track inventory and shipments, and ensure samples are delivered accurately and on time. This is a hands-on, detail-focused opportunity to gain exposure to operational workflows while supporting high-visibility events, PR, and brand initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage the sample request inbox, responding to requests from teams across the countryTake ownership of the sample request process from start to finish, ensuring nothing falls through the cracksTrack sample requests and shipments in Excel to maintain accurate, organized recordsPrioritize requests based on event dates, deadlines, and business needsPartner closely with Events, PR, and Brand teams to understand timing, quantities, and requirementsMonitor sample inventory levels and proactively flag low stock or potential issuesIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline the sample processSupport special projects and event-related needs as they arise
Requirements:
Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internshipMust be available for the full internship period: June 1st – August 21st Highly organized and comfortable managing a high volume of detailsAble to stay calm and focused while managing a busy inbox with frequent incoming requestsStrong ability to prioritize multiple requests and manage competing deadlinesConfident using Excel to track orders, update spreadsheets, and maintain accurate informationStrong written communication skills with the ability to respond to emails in a clear, friendly, and professional mannerAble to follow established processes while also identifying opportunities for improvementSelf-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently when neededComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesSAP experience is a plus
