Mohawk is hiring for a full-time Supply Chain Manager!
Summary/Objective
The Supply Chain Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring that all inventory items, including supply and uniform items, are properly identified and readily accessible in accordance with the organization’s inventory cycle.
Essential Functions

• Monitors inventory levels of both supplies and uniform items to ensure optimal stock availability and prevent shortages or overstock.
• Supports purchase planning by generating replenishment orders based on forecasts and demand.
• Adjusts purchasing plans based on trends or seasonality.
• Identifies potential supply risks and escalates issues proactively.
• Collaborates with the Operations team on demand planning.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and forecasting data across systems.
• Conducts regular cycle counts and reconciles discrepancies.
• Analyzes inventory turnover, aging stock, and slow-moving items.
• Coordinates stock transfers between locations.
• Locates items that may have incorrect locations to assist with order processors.
• Coordinates inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers.
• Tracks purchase orders from suppliers and follows up on delays or discrepancies.
• Ensures materials and products arrive on time to meet demand.
• Assists with vendor communication regarding lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules and resolves any identified issues.
• Communicates with the Accounting team as needed regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
• Ensures adherence to approved budgets and policies.
• Prepares inventory and supply chain reports on topics, such as stock levels, fill rates, lead times, backorders, etc.
• Analyzes data to identify process inefficiencies or cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintains dashboards and KPIs related to inventory performance.
• Supports audits by providing inventory documentation and reports.
• Develops and improves inventory control procedures as needed.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and supply chain best practices.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and inventory processes.
• Acts as a point of contact for inventory supply and uniform related questions internally.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in related field preferred.
• At least five years of experience in a related area required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
