Technology
- Eight (8) years of experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 in a large scale Data Center environment with in depth knowledge of:
- Citrix Administration
- VMware Administration
- Domain Services
- Proxy Services
- Server administration & performance monitoring
- Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
- Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS)
- Patch management
- Backup management (Desired: CommVault Backup & Recovery Solutions)
- Scripting (Examples: Kickstart, Visual Basic, PowerShell, etc.)
- Recent experience with Windows clustering, Microsoft SQL and Microsoft IIS
- Thorough understanding and experience with WSUS
- Understanding of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN connectivity
- Experience with enterprise class system security requirements and server hardening practices
- Comprehensive experience with disaster recovery preparedness and recovery exercises
- Ability to establish and maintain Windows architecture best practices, including procedures, templates and relevant documentation
